About Nichlas Vilsmark
Nichlas Vilsmark is a Danish florist and teacher, living and working in London, United Kingdom. Nichlas has worked on many major events, the largest of which was as the Head Florist for the wedding of the Danish Crown Prince in 2004.
Life and work
Nichlas Vilsmark was born in Fyn, Denmark, and studied Floral Design 1990–1992 at Jordbrugets UddannelsesCenter, Århus. 1992–1994 and upon graduation became a lecturer and teacher of Floral Design same institute.
In 2004, Nichlas was the Head Florist for the Royal Wedding of the Danish Crown Prince in Copenhagen Cathedral. Illustrations in the book Royal Flower Glory, published for the Royal Wedding, show Vilsmark creating the floral decorations and installations.
In 2006, Nichlas founded Floral Symphonies to bring Danish innovative floral design to London. In 2009, Nichlas ran a Floristry Masterclass event at the Dulwich Picture Gallery, using Dutch Golden Age paintings in the Gallery as a point of inspiration, as part of the Gallery's Art for Adults Education programme.
Floral Symphonies by Nichlas Vilsmark is an approved supplier of floristry to Somerset House, The King’s Fund, the Dulwich Picture Gallery and the National Maritime Museum.

- Nichlas always make a site visit prior to delivery of the flowers to the venue.

- We offer 30 days credit to all our corporate customers and events planners.
- Invoices can be detailed by account number, cost centre, department, purchase order number or called name as required.
- We accept most major credit cards, including American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Switch and Solo.
- We accept BACs and Cheque payments.

- We listen, and respond to our customers comments. If we do something you like then please tell us. If we do something you do not like, then we will try our best to put it right as soon as possible.

The Environment
- Mother Nature gave us flowers, we simply arrange them. We have a strong Environmental policy to say thank you
- Our design studio is powered by electricity from renewable sources.
- Our design studio is lit by low energy halogen bulbs.
- We compost or recycle our waste as appropriate.
- We use the best seasonal flowers, rather than exotic or out of season flowers which need either heated greenhouses or a very long journey by airplane.
- Our flowers and foliage are sourced locally, again reducing our carbon footprint.
